کسی پہ کوئی گلہ نہیں ہے یہ اپنی تقدیر کا لکھا ہے

نہیں محبت رہی جو مجھ سے تو اس میں کچھ زور ہی نہیں ہے

کسی نے نظریں جو پھیر لی ہیں بتاؤ اس کا علاج کیا ہے

نظر نے جس دم نظر کو دیکھا تو پھر نظر ہی نظر میں اے دل

نظر نے باتیں نظر سے کر کے نظر سے سب کچھ نذر کیا ہے

وہ چپکے چپکے سے مسکرانا وہ چپکے چپکے سے بات کرنا

اندھیری راتوں میں آنا جانا  گلے وہ ملنا کہا ں گیا ہے

کسی کی فرقت میں رات دن اب بڑے مزے سے گزر رہے تھے

لگن سی دل میں لگی ہوئی ہے مزہ محبت کا آ رہا ہے

کہا جو میں نے کہ بعد مردن  میرے جنازے پہ ہاتھ رکھنا

تو ہنستے ہنستے کہا یہ اس نے جہاں میں ایسا کبھی ہوا ہے

یہ بات آپس میں طے ہوئی ہے کہ مجھ میں تجھ میں دوئی  نہیں ہے

ہے ایک ہی ذات کا یہ جلوہ نظر جو دونوں میں آ رہا ہے

نہیں ہےمشتاق اب مزہ کچھ یہ دل لگی ایک کھیل سی ہے

کبھی محبت کبھی ہے نفرت یہ اک تماشا بنا ہوا ہے

تو نے بت ہر جائی ، کچھ ایسی ادا پائی

تکتا ہے تیری صورت ہر ایک تماشائی

اب دل ہے یہ چکر میں سب ہوش و خرد گم ہیں

کوچے میں محبت کے چلتی نہیں دانائی

تُو عِشق میرا ہر گِز غیروں سے نہ کر ظاہر

 اِس میں میرا چرچا ہے اور ہے تیری رُسوائی

پہلے سے نہ سوچا تھا انجام محبت کا

تب ہوش میں آئے ہیں جب جان پہ بن آئی

جی بھر گیا دنیا سے اب دل میں یہ حسرت ہے

تو ہوتیرا جلوہ ہو  اور گوشئہ تنہائی

طعنوں سے ہے دل زخمی، زخموں سے جگر خوں ہے

لو دل کے لگانے کی ہم نے یہ سزائی پائی

یوں باندھ کےبیٹھا ہے دامن تیرے دامن سے

دیوانے پہ قُربان ہے داناؤں کی دانائی

مدت سے امیر ان سے ملنے کی تمنا تھی

آج اس نے بلایا ہے، لینے کو قضا آئی

جدا  وہ ہو گئے ،لگتا نہیں ہے

ہیں پردے میں مگر پردہ نہیں ہے

بسی ہے آنکھ میں صورت تمہاری

کوئی چہرہ ہمیں جچتا نہیں ہے

جدائی آپ کی تڑپا رہی ہے

ہمارا دل کہیں لگتا نہیں ہے

ذرا سی دیر کو آ جائیے گا

بہت دن سے تمہیں دیکھا نہیں ہے

بظاہر تو نظر آتے نہیں ہو
